Chambersburg, Mechanicsburg 1: Lightning prevented the second half from being played, so the Trojans and Wildcats had to settle for a 1-1 tie in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match at Trojan Stadium.

"Overall, our performance was a big improvement over Monday night," Trojan coach Paul Unruh said. "We were more focused defensively and more cohesive in the attack."

Chambersburg (0-1-1, 0-1-1 MPC) got on the board first, following a corner kick. Kadence Decker set up the goal with a pass to Malia Cramer and she slotted her shot into the net.

Mechanicsburg tied the score 7 minutes later.
